We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.  We sure did!  All the great food, concerts, and fireworks.  Such a great holiday.

Upcoming Classes

Our Block -A- Day Sampler Block of the Month starts July 9th at 9:30 am.  Each month we will focus on a new block with new techniques.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration fee is $50.00 and includes pattern book, companion cd, and first months block.  A demo is displayed in store.

July 9th also is our Rag Rug Making Class.  We teach a fun and no sew easy way to make a braided rug.  Use scraps from your stash or pieces that you're  not quite sure why you got them.  This is a 3 hour class.  Prep work is necessary so be sure to sign up early to get the supply sheet and prep  instructions.  Class fee is $40.00 and includes pattern booklet, needle, and hands on instruction.

Beginning Piecing 101 starts July 16th this is a 3 part class.  This is a small class where we teach basic quilting skills from cutting, pressing, and piecing.  By end of class you will have a quilt top ready for quilting.
Purchase the quilt top kit and the class is free (kit purchase is required).    A Class demo is on display in the store.

call 801-796-1533 and we will take your credit card over the phone.  All class fees must be paid prior to attending class.

Promenade and 4th of July

Don't forget to pick up your coupon book for the Promenade this summer.  Promenade starts next week so pick up yours soon so that you don't miss out.  To Celebrate the 4th of July we will be closed July 2nd and 4th.

Memorial Day - Holiday Hours

With Memorial Day fast approaching we just wanted to remind everyone that we will be closed May 28th through May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.  We wish everyone a wonderful and sunny holiday weekend.

For those of you wanting to enhance your color coordinating skills we have the class for you.  Class is Saturday May 21st at 10:30am.  There are still a few spots left.  Class fee is $10.00. 

If you love the look of applique and not quite sure how to do it we have the class for you. 
Our Beginning Machine Applique. 
Come learn 3 easy ways to applique your designs on whatever project you may be working on.  We will be creating a fun Decorative Pillow in this 2 week class.  A fabric kit and pattern book is included.  You will have a finished project when class is done.  Class fee is $40.00.  Class starts Tuesday May 24th 4-6pm.

Beginning Piecing-101  Class is free w/kit purchase.
Let us guide you all the way through your girst quilt.  3 free classes where you will learn many basic techniques from cutting to pressing, how to use several rulers, seam allowance, block layout, and simple borders.  You will start piecing in class and will have a cute quilt when you are done.  Even if you have sewn before, this is a great beginning or refresher course.  Kit purchase is required to register 2 color ways to choose from.  Please pick up kit and supply list prior to the 1st day of class.  Class size is limited. 
Project Demo is on display.  Class starts Wednesday June 8th at 5:00pm.
